This Privacy Policy explains how Talevonia handles your data, including how optional AI features process information.
1. Information We Collect
Talevonia does not collect, store, or share any personal data.
- We do not require you to create an account.
- We do not collect names, emails, device identifiers, or any personal information.
- We do not track how you write or how you use the app.
- We do not upload your stories or creative content to our servers (we do not operate servers for story storage).
All story content you create remains on your device unless you choose to send text through optional AI features (explained below).
2. Local Data Storage
All stories, characters, branches, and related content are stored locally on your device. You maintain complete ownership and control of your creative work.
If you delete the app, all locally stored data is removed from your device (unless it is included in an iCloud or system-level backup managed by Apple).
3. AI Features and Third-Party Processing
Talevonia includes optional AI-assisted features to help you brainstorm, expand branches, or explore creative directions. When you use these AI features, your text must be sent to a third-party AI service provider (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or others) to generate a response.
If you choose not to use AI features, no data is sent to any third-party AI provider.
3.1 What We Send
If you use an AI feature, we may send:
- The text you input (e.g., prompts or story excerpts)
- Very limited context needed for the AI to generate a response
We do NOT send:
- Personal identifiers
- Device identifiers
- Contact information
- Any data outside what is required to process your specific AI request
3.2 How Third-Party Providers Handle Data
According to the policies of the AI providers we use:
- Submitted data is not used to train their models.
- Data may be temporarily logged for abuse detection, security monitoring, or service stability.
- Data is automatically deleted based on the provider’s retention schedule.
- Authorized personnel may access logs only when necessary for abuse prevention or diagnostics.

3.3 Your Control and Choice
AI features are entirely optional. If you do not invoke an AI feature, no content from your device is sent anywhere.
4. Third-Party Analytics and Advertising
Talevonia does not use:
- Third-party analytics
- Advertising SDKs
- Tracking tools
- Fingerprinting technologies
We do not collect telemetry or analytics data of any kind.
5. Children’s Privacy
Talevonia is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe we may have unintentionally received information from a child under 13 through an AI request, please contact us so we can delete it promptly.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
- All story data is stored locally and remains until you delete it or uninstall the app.
- AI request data is handled by the third-party provider only for the duration needed to process the request and for abuse prevention, following their policies.
- We do not store copies of AI requests or responses.
If you delete the app, all local content is removed from your device.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of Talevonia after changes are published means you accept the updated policy.
